The Ship

🚢 The Ship – Lifeblood of Your Fleet

The Ship is the lifeblood of your fleet, a steadfast vessel that determines the distance between dig sites, carrying your Captain and crew to treasures hidden across the vast seas. A well-maintained and upgraded ship ensures smoother voyages and greater efficiency in your expeditions.

⚓ Enhance Your Ship with GOLD

By using GOLD to enhance your ship, you can:

  • Reduce the distance between dig sites, making treasure hunts more efficient.

  • Increase speed and reliability, ensuring faster travel across the seas.

  • Enhance navigation capabilities, allowing your Captain to reach more treasure-rich locations with ease.

🏴‍☠️ The Key to Navigating Treacherous Waters

A mighty ship is the key to shortening the path to fortune. The stronger your vessel, the faster and more efficient your expeditions become, bringing you closer to buried riches in record time.

Deckhands & Captains – Ship System

Deckhands: Rowboats & Their Journey

Deckhand players start their adventure aboard rowboats, a humble but essential means of navigating the open seas. These small vessels allow Deckhands to explore, search for treasure, and prove their worth. However, rowboats come with limitations:

  • Limited Strength – Only 5% of total Strength is realized in this mode.

  • Basic Navigation – Slower movement and reduced efficiency in treasure hunting.

  • Path to Promotion – Deckhands must earn their way to Captain status by securing a ship.

Deckhands can advance to Captain Mode by either:

  1. Purchasing a Genesis Ship from the in-app store.

  2. Finding a Fleet Commander in the Discord community willing to promote them.

Captains: Commanding Genesis Ships

Captains in Trails of Gold take command of powerful Genesis Ships, unlocking their full 100% Strength potential and gaining access to the complete treasure-hunting experience.

There are four types of Genesis Ships available to players who achieve Captain status:

Note: If your Fleet Commander has a Fleet Commander’s Ship as the head of the fleet, a 2x multiplier will be applied to all ships within the fleet, resulting in the following:

🚢 Multiplier Effect on Fleet Ships

  • Every ship within the Fleet benefits from a 2x multiplier on their effects.

  • This enhances efficiency, allowing for faster expeditions, shorter travel distances, and improved treasure-hunting capabilities.

  • A Fleet led by a Fleet Commander’s Ship ensures greater synergy, making every voyage more rewarding.

By securing a Fleet Commander’s Ship, your entire fleet operates at peak performance, maximizing treasure-hunting potential across the high seas.
